Dr Jerry Yeo is a board-certified clinical chemist and toxicological chemist with broad expertise in clinical chemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring, toxicology, clinical pharmacogenetics and endocrinology testing.

Research focuses on blood biomarkers of cardiac diseases. These include cardiac troponin, BNP and NT-proBNP, and new emerging markers like ischemia-modified albumin, soluble CD40, myeoloperoxidase, etc. In addition, our laboratory is embarking in a new direction in Pharmacogenomics research, involving the genotyping various Cytochrome P450, VKORC1 and other relevant polymorphisms related to personalized drug therapies or avoidance of adverse drug reactions.
